The Enthusiast

Catherine Slavova (she/they) calls herself a vampire enthusiast for three reasons:
- She is obsessed with vampires. Obviously.
- She doesn’t obsess over them professionally. Yet.
- Fang-girl is a bit obvious. Besides, they used it as part of the whole Bloodsucking Feminists podcast.
She’s a gamer, a librarian, and a lifelong resident of Wellington, New Zealand. And yes, she has met several of its local vampire population. Specifically Deacon, Petyr, and Pauline. Plus she’s been carded by Officer Karen O’Leary of the Wellington Paranormal Unit. A longtime lover of vampire fiction, she has turned her hand to writing some, and has a few stashed away in the trunk. Her current project is a sapphic YA novel with an out-of-the-coffin world a la True Blood with the Wellington stylings of What We Do In The Shadows.
